Original Atari 65xe computer. I was order it broken. After tests i understand it has Broken memory. Repair planned.

Power supply

My computer I order without power supply. First find out pinout.

View from PSU connector (male)

So, on computer side GND signal should be on left side, +5v on right side.

Make wire with USB-A on onther side.

Video wire

Video should connect also via din7.

I made wire with SCART. Power on scart get from PSU wire via Y connector.

RAM repair

In this computer located 8 chips 4264. Someone already try to repair computer. On memry chip solder on socket. And chip in this socket in work condition…. I was try change chip to 4164 with same result. When I turn on my computer it show memory test and 63 cell shown as not works.

I try find diference beetween 4264 and 4164 and found it mostly the same chips, but 4264 faster (100 ns compare 150 ns in 4164).

Found 4164 with 100ns timing. Thinking….
